Eva Kreisky
Prof. Dr. Emeritus, from 1995 to 2012 full Professor for Political Theory at the department of Political Science at the University of Vienna; from 1972 to 1978 research assistent at the Institute for Advanced Sciences and until 1989 leader of the political science department. She was Professor for Politics with Special Focus on Gender Studies at the Otto-Suhr-Institute, Free University of Berlin from 1989 to 1993 and visiting professor at the University of Zurich and the University of Klagenfurt, among others.
Research Focus:
Bureaucracy and state institutions, parliamentary studies, political masculinities in warfare and sports, male-bonding in political institutions, theories of justice and solidarity, democratic theories and neoliberal transformations
